THE SOVIET: SHIPPING AND ORDER PROCESSING POLICY

1. Order Processing Guidelines

Customers are advised to allow a processing window of up to 24 hours for order verification, contingent upon product availability and successful payment confirmation.

  • Modification/Cancellation: Once an order is submitted and processed, it cannot be modified or cancelled by the Customer. Customers are required to confirm all order details for correctness prior to completing the checkout process.

  • Non-Shipping Days: The Soviet does not process or ship orders on weekends or major holidays. All orders are dispatched from our fulfillment center in Mumbai, India

  • Confirmation Email: An automated order confirmation will be sent to the registered email address immediately upon placement. If not received, Customers should check their spam/junk folders.

2. Product Availability and Refunds

Due to high product demand, items may occasionally become unavailable even after an order has been successfully placed.

  • Unavailable Items: In the event of confirmed product unavailability, a full refund for the item's purchase amount will be issued.

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method utilized at checkout.

    • Timeline: Customers should allow 5-10 business days for the refund credit to appear on their bank or payment statement, depending on the financial institution.

3. Security and Discretionary Cancellation

All orders are subject to review by our security and fraud prevention team. The Soviet (Ragway lifestyle private limited) reserves the right to cancel any order at any time without prior notice or stated reason.

4. Shipping Confirmation and Tracking

Upon successful processing by our fulfillment team, the Customer will receive a dedicated shipping confirmation email, which will include the courier name and tracking information.

  • Delays: Please be advised that orders may experience shipping delays during periods of special product releases, major national holidays, or sale/markdown events.

5. Pre-Order Policy

Items explicitly marked as Pre-Order are subject to the following specific terms:

  • Shipping: Pre-Order items are expected to ship upon their arrival at our fulfillment facility.

  • Payment: Customers are charged the full item cost to the payment method provided at the time of checkout to secure the reservation.

  • Finality: Once a Pre-Order has been placed, it is unable to be cancelled or modified. Should you have any inquiries regarding your Pre-Order, please contact our support team.

6. International Shipping

The Soviet offers worldwide shipping services.

  • Duties and Fees: Delivery duties, taxes, and customs fees are variable and depend entirely on the shipping destination.

  • Inquiries: For detailed questions regarding international shipping capabilities or duties, please contact our support team at info@thesoviet.in.

  • Couriers: All international orders are shipped via DHL Express or any other International Couriers.

  • Non-Guaranteed Times: Shipping times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed, as they do not account for the initial 24-hour internal order processing window.

  • Customs: Customers are responsible for contacting their local customs office for assistance with estimating potential additional costs. Duty calculation may be available upon proceeding to our checkout page.

7. Customer Service and Holiday Observance

  • Hours of Operation: Our Customer Service team is available:  Monday – Saturday 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM IST.

  • Observed Holidays: The Soviet observes the following major holidays:

    • DIWALI
    • NEW YEAR’S DAY
    • INDEPENDENCE DAY
    • CHRISTMAS EVE
    • CHRISTMAS
  • Shipments and Customer Service operations will be suspended on these dates.

8. Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Packages

The Soviet's liability ceases upon confirmation of delivery by the courier. Once a tracking number receives proof of delivery (POD), The Soviet is not responsible for items that are subsequently lost, damaged, or stolen. All such risks are assumed by the selected courier service.

9. Final Sale Items

During any marked sale or promotional period, all sales are final.

  • Price Adjustments: The Soviet reserves the right to extend, modify, or discontinue any markdowns at any time without notice. We will not issue price adjustments or refunds for the difference if The Soviet subsequently lowers the price of an item you have already purchased.
